15 January 2020 The competition welcomed entries across four categories from staff and students at the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine (CRM) and the Centre for Inflammation Research (CIR). The four category winners are: Sam Hess (science category) Karin Purshouse (sustainability category) Sophie Quick (collaboration category) Donald J. Davidson (community category) Image The quality of submissions was extremely high, with almost 70 entries from across the Institute. The winning images were chosen by a panel of judges, including Matthieu Vermeren, CRM Imaging Facilities Manager; Rebecca Aucott, CIR Lab Manager; Lana Woolford, CIR Communications & Engagement Officer and CRM artist in residence Emily Fong. “We were impressed, sometimes surprised and amused, always amazed by the quality of pictures submitted. It was not an easy to find winners and we would like to congratulate all the participants for their submissions.” Matthieu Vermeren, CRM Facilities Manager The images will be used online and throughout our buildings to engage more people with the work of the new Institute.
