Updates and achievements from the SteatoSITE team

Read Edinburgh Innovation's case study on our unique gene-to-outcome data resource which is catalysing multi-sector collaborations to improve the understanding, prevention, and treatment of Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Diseases (MASLD).

Read Edinburgh BioQuarter's article on our collaborative Scotland-wide project that has compiled patient data from nearly 1,000 patients with liver disease to create a secure, searchable, open resource.

The SteatoSITE team have been announced finalists for the Scottish Knowledge Exchange Multiparty Collaboration Award for the INTErPRET-NAFLD project in association with Bering Limited, HistoIndex, BioDev, Precision Medicine Scotland and the University of Edinburgh.

Read the article from EPPC about their involvement in the SteatoSITE resource. EPPC, part of the University of Edinburgh, is the UK's leading centre of Supercomputing and Data Science expertise and hosts the NHS data that underpins SteatoSITE.
