Our selection of TC microscopes. Nikon Ts2R-FL TC microscopes The facility is looking after a pool of nine TC microscopes in various TC rooms in IRR. These microscopes are equipped with 4x, 10x, and 20x lenses. You can look at your samples in brightfield, phase contrast, and fluorescence (blue, green, and red fluorescence). Usage of the microscope is free to check your sample, with a small fee if you want to take pictures. CellCyteX The Cytena CellCyteX is an in-incubator microscope designed for long term live imaging and longitudinal studies. It can hold up to six multi-well plates (6 to 96 wells each) and image samples with either a 4x or 10x lens. This microscope can look at samples either in phase contrastbright field (enhanced contour) or fluorescence (blue, green, and red fluorescence). The CellCyteX comes with a simple image analysis package for cell segmentation. Whilst users will be trained to operate the CellCyteX, we ask to be informed to coordinate usage between users and avoid clashes, for example when loading a sample whilst the microscope tries to image somebody else’s sample.
