We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and talented researcher in Health Informatics.

This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate would lead on a project that addresses several of the UK’s top ten priorities in epilepsy research. 

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • PhD or equivalent (or will be shortly awarded a PhD) with related work experience in a relevant discipline e.g. Medical Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology or Public Health.  
  • Experience with successful application for access to Scotland wide datasets
  • Experience with working with eDRIS to obtained linked datasets 
  • Experience in the application of statistical methods to address public health research questions (e.g. use of regression models).
  • Excellent working knowledge of a statistical software (R or SPSS or STATA preferred).

Grade UE07: £40,247 - £47,874 per annum

CMVM / Institute for Regeneration and Repair / Centre for Inflammation Research

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Fixed Term: 12 months
