Speaker: Dr Luca Cassetta, Honorary Fellow, Centre for Reproductive Health

BIO: Luca Cassetta is a macrophage immunologist. His main scientific interest is decoding the biology of macrophages with the overall goal to design successful therapies for incurable diseases.
In 2020 he founded Macomics, a University of Edinburgh startup aimed at targeting macrophages in cancer. Before that he worked in several universities around the world, including the University of Edinburgh, where he studied macrophages in cancer, inflammation and infectious diseases
